Fat Dissolving Injections using Aqualyx are used to reduce fat on the body or under the chin and jawline to create a better profile. They are also called a non-surgical fat dissolving treatment. We inject Aqualyx to safely eliminate stubborn pockets of fat which resist diet and exercise. It works by liquefying fat cells in the chosen treatment area. It destroys the fat cells and the fat/lipids are released and eliminated naturally by the lymphatic system. The active ingredient in Aqualyx is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring compound found in your body that aids in the breakdown of dietary fat. When Aqualyx is injected into the fat bulge, it destroys the fat cells. Once these fat cells are destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. We find that Aqualyx and HIFU treatments are great for smaller or bigger (40 cm x 40cm = £400) areas such as double chins or fatty deposits above the knees or ankles.
