Facial HIFU is used by all ages from late 20's. High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) heats the skin tissue at a variety of depths from 1.5mm to 13mm depending on which area needs treatment. Deciding between HIFU and a surgical facelift?
Hifu COOL delivers good results for all skin types but skin type and physiology can have different results. We've seen some clients who look years younger within two weeks and others that benefit from more subtle results such as lifted brows, reduction in nasolabial lines and other wrinkles as well as a refreshed glow to the skin.

Do I Need Other Skin Tightening and Lifting Treatments?

The only other facial treatments you might want to have are cleansing and rejuvenating facials. When we lose fat from body areas the skin slackens just as it does on the face. We use cavitation and fat freezing to reduce fatty tissue on the body and once we've assessed the fat reduction and skin laxity we use hifuCOOL and/or Radio Frequency to tighten the skin again. This gives our clients a slimmer and firmer appearance.

HIFU is a technology applied to many brands on the market now including UltraFormer, SculptPro, Wave Lift and HifuCOOL as well as many more in the United Kingdom. The technology is the same in most.
Many of the HIFU machines used at present do not have the cooling system in the machine so a client will feel the laser heat and the treatment will take longer as many of the older machines have just one line of 11 - 12 dots instead of the newer versions which have 12 lines of 12 dots allowing them to cover more skin in less time like the HifuCOOL. HifuCOOL ensures a client is never uncomfortable and the treatment is completed in half the time as the therapist can use a continuous treatment without constantly stopping to apply more protective gel.
