The Skin Rejuvenation Season
Our skin is bombarded with climate, pollution and UV radiation during the Summer and in the Winter the same, but add the Winter cold and our poor skin looks dry, tired and dull. Not to mention the stretch marks as we tuck in to those traditional hot meals and a bit of pudding and Summer exercise slows down.
The transition from Summer to Autumn and before Winter is the best time to give your skin deep love.
We know that correcting any damage from the summer is anti ageing and helps your skin to prepare your complexion for winter. The lower temperatures and less intense UV radiation reduce the risk of complications from treatments like laser rejuvenation, thread veins and capilliaries removal, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, skin tags, cherry angioma, age spots and other damage.
What Do We Offer This Autumn?
We have an arsenal of treatments for your skin.
Laser Rejuvenation Courses: We love our Diode laser. It heats the inner dermal structure of the skin whilst simultaneously cooling the superficial skin. This stimulates a repair process resulting in new collagen and elastin forming, which over time rejuvenates the skin, improving the tone, texture and overall appearance of the skin.
Diode treatments help heal sun damage, benign growths and those that have broken blood vessels on the face, rosacea and people with age or “liver” spots on the face, chest, hands and neck can see those irregularities eliminated with a course of diode laser treatment.
This laser can treat all body parts including: legs, arms, hands, buttocks, tummy and back. Many of our clients enjoy a course to reduce lesions, age spots and other issues on their back. They say that they want to know that their back is smooth and clear of blemishes.
HIFU Treatments: HIFU is used to tighten and lift the skin on face and body by damaging the SMAS (around muscles) to renew collagen formation which encourages elastin production too. This treatment is the only one that can reach the SMAS. Using high intensity Focused Ultrasound when the UV radiation has essened is best. Your skin will be vulnerable to UV radiation so less direct sunshine helps as well as using at least a 30SPF after your treatment.
Vascular Removal: Redness in the skin is increased in the Summer and again in the Winter due to extreme temperatures. Autumn is perfect to reduce those already in the skin to ensure you have a calmer looking skin. Most thread veins can be removed quite quickly but you might have a propensity towards having more as prolonged sun exposure and abrupt weather changes to excessive alcohol intake and hormonal shifts like pregnancy. Other triggers can include abrupt pressure changes from severe vomiting or sneezing, or a genetic predisposition. Those with rosacea often experience facial thread veins due to flushed and reddened skin.
We use a 980nm laser to erase thread veins, broken capillaries, cherry angioma and spider veins on the face and body in minutes.
